Colin Galloway

Colin Galloway is a family law attorney committed to combining compassion with strategic advocacy. His interest in family law began before law school, when he worked at the Self-Help Center of the Second Judicial District Court in Nevada. There, he saw firsthand how essential accessible and effective legal services are for families—an experience that inspired his career path.

Colin earned his J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law, graduating with a specialization in Family Law. During law school, he gained extensive hands-on experience through the ACCESS Center of the San Francisco County Superior Court and by working as a paralegal and law clerk at several respected family law firms. Since passing the California Bar in November 2021, he has devoted his practice exclusively to family law.

Resolution-driven and client-focused, Colin is a strong advocate in litigation but prioritizes negotiated settlements whenever possible. He believes families benefit most when they can control their outcomes, reduce conflict, and conserve resources rather than spend them on drawn-out court battles and costly experts. His guiding principle is simple: fair resolutions should protect both family relationships and financial well-being.

Colin represents clients in all aspects of family law, including custody and visitation, support, domestic violence, and complex property division. He approaches each matter with legal precision, practical strategy, and genuine empathy for the people involved.

Outside the office, Colin enjoys golfing, snowboarding in Lake Tahoe, attending live music, and spending time with his family and his energetic corgi.
